3. Policy on alts
All alts are accepted into the guild regardless of level. Exception: members on probation may not add an alt until the probation period is over.

Adding an alt to the guild
To add an alt to the guild, you must log on your main and request the addition in guild chat online. Ask if an Induction Council member is in your area. Reminder, an IC member may not be in your area or may be busy at the moment. Please be patient if this is the case, and re-request it at a later time.

Alts in other guilds
You may not have alts in other EQ guilds on the same server. We're not very enthusiastic about having alts in other guilds on other servers either, but we realize this is something we cannot stop or control. This is a loyalty issue. If you are a member of our guild, you are expected to be 100% loyal. Note that you may never ever accept an officer position in another guild, no matter on which server it resides.

Promotion of alts
Alts of council members will not be promoted to council ranks. Exceptions for HC and IC may be made at the sole discretion of HC.

Dropping main from guild
All alts need to be dropped too. Exception: by approval of the IC vote.

Alts and raids
Full members are allowed to have as many alts as they want, but please remember the following:

- Only your main toon will get a DKP bonus of 1 per ding (meaning 49 DKP at level 50). These are awarded only once per player and are spent like other DKPs earned through raiding or guild events. This is to encourage leveling your main toon.

- Only your main toon can bid as many DKP as he/she has. Your alts will be restricted to bidding a certain amount of DKP, which will be announced by Raid Leaders before the raid starts. Raid Leaders can make exceptions if the player played the alt on special request, in case of shortage of needed classes or similar reasons.

- Only your main toon can join any raid in the announced level range. Raid-joining alts have to be higher than the average raid level. As with bidding, a Raid Leader can call a lower level alt in if that class is needed and both the player and the Raid Leader agree.

- Only your main toon has full access to the guild bank/handmedowns. Alts have to wait at least one week after a certain item was added to the guild bank before requesting it.

- Alts may join any raid if the main of said player cannot join the raid because its level is too high, provided this does not disable other mains to join said raid.

- Alts may transfer their DKP to their mains (not the other way around), as else mains that cannot join the raid because their level is too high actually get punished for leveling.

- Alts that have been allowed to join a raid may bid for their mains.

- You may switch your main once every 3 months.

Please note that your bots/2-boxed chars count as alts in every aspect.

People get tempted so easily once they get in charge themselves. It's all about preserving your integrity. Only then will you be able to judge others and stand up for your principles. Else you turn into a hypocritical joke. - Yomar
