061007: Black Queen down! Thursday's raid saw us tear through the Courts of El'Afaz, faster than ever before. With a full raid force, and good mix of healers and DPS, we were on a roll. Heaps of frogs marked our progress from named to named, and tower to tower. And, yes, finally we did it - we conquered the Fire Witch/Black Queen encounter, meaning that for the first time ever Fabulae Marrii has cleared the Courts. Saluete! Contributed by Catkin.
060919: Down, down, deeper and down. Last night, buoyed up by our previous successes, we tacked an extra hour on the raid and headed back into the Labs. We blitzed through the trash mobs, cut our teeth on a few familiar named, then headed where no man has gone before (or woman, for that matter). Down went the Uncaged Alzid for the first time, though his blobby adds did wipe the raid, and we got a letter opener that the DPS boys got quite excited about. On we stormed, up round the corner to the next set of named. The gods of LD were not being kind to me, so I only got to see snatches of this fight, but FM were again victorious, and we got a lovely bow that had all our scouts drooling. And on we went until we got within sight of the Corsolander, but it was so late by this point that we had to call the raid. Thanks again to all our guests for their invaluable help. Screenshots here, here and here. Contributed by Catkin and Anakye.
060913: Ascent of the Awakened - Sharti down! We’re celebrating two raiding firsts this week. On Sunday, Hal whipped us along to Ascent of Awakened in Barren Sky for another attempt on the final mob, the dragon Sharti. Every time the dragon’s aoe hits, it spawns two fire blob adds. It doesn’t take long for the whole raid to be wiped out if too many of these spawn (or, heaven forbid, get anywhere near the healers). We fine-tuned our strategy, and refused to give up. Finally, it all came together. Hal got the blobs under control, the dragon’s HPs were dropping… We could tell it was going to be close – and it was! After a monumental fight, we all died, including the dragon – huzzah! When the initial euphoria of the kill wore off, we found ourselves in the comedy situation of somehow needing to get back up to the dragon’s lair to get our hands on the tasty-looking chest it had dropped. After so many deaths, many of us were now down to our skimpies, so it was a suicide run through four floors of aggro mobs for anyone who still had a piece of armour to their name. Killing the dragon Sharti has given us access to the 4-group raid version of A of A, so many thanks to all our guildies and guests for sticking with us through this very tiresome zone. Contributed by Catkin.
060913: Labs raid - we go deeper! On Tuesday, we resumed our Labs farming. With nearly a full raid force, and a nice balance of DPS and healers, we were doing so well that the RC decided to try the Doomwing Triad. This is a tricky encounter, and these guys have effectively blocked our access to deeper areas of the Labs. Fyndhorn’s new, experimental pulling technique seemed to him involve him dying a lot (to cheery shouts of ‘Ranger down!’) but when the pull was right, and the aggro sorted out, the mobs went down like a dream. Despite the lateness of the hour, we were so excited that we carried on round the corner to the next named, the Uncaged Alzid. Like Pardus Predd, this mob spawns adds while you fight it. We tried the script once, died heroically, then ended the raid, as it was getting late, and people were falling sleep on their keyboards. Thanks again to guildies old and new, and also to Jannus and Detje. We couldn’t have got so far without your help <hug>. Contributed by Catkin.
060710: Doomwright Vakrizt and The Slavering Alzid down ! Hearing pleas for help from the hapless villagers of Shin, twenty adventurers good and true went in search of the foul monster that had been terrorising them - a giant crab! (Crabbus Giganticus, to give it its proper name.) The less said about what happened in the crab's cave the better, but let it be said that crab cakes are still off the menu.

Bloody but unbowed, our fearless heroes still lusted for battle. Suggestions were made, and a democratic decision was taken. If we were going to die, let it be in style! Pausing only to press-gang a few stragglers and a Dachsund named Colin, the merry band set off to Bonemire (ooh) and the Laboratory of Lord Vyemm (aah).

This was the guild's first official visit to the zone, and we weren't quite sure what to expect, but the gods of battle smiled favourably upon our enterprise. Headed by Hal (and urged on from behind by Yommy), the expedition headed bravely downwards, defeating numerous trash mobs, and two named, netting four nice pieces of loot in all. Much rejoicing ensued. Lord Vyemm, we shall return! You can find several screenshots of this fight here, here and here. Contributed by Catkin.
060307: Four mobs down ! Tonight we went to Poet's Palace: The Return and took down Raktash The Low, Ciriktna, Aktehut The Eternal and Krathuk The Golden. Ciriktna was probably toughest of all, as he has a Power Drain ability which immediately drains the Main Tank, causing nuking and other classes to immediately aggro. The only thing that can stop this Power Drain ability is an ultra-rare ring or a guild called Fabulae Marrii. By putting conjuror pets and tanks on the adds we managed to take down the adds one by one, after which Ciriktna was child's play. A long but smooth fight.
060307: The Scaled Enforcer down! Kingdom of the Sky is here and we are eagerly looking for stuff we can kill and rampage! Good that we found this little 67*2 contested mob: The Scaled Enforcer. We gathered the troups, figured out the adds, killed the named and cheered at Katsani's new cap. Grats all! Contributed by Halbarad.
060303: The Great Gardener down! Okay, we're going to keep this one nice and short, as this zone is not entirely new to us. I think this guy whiped us about five or six times (several times just tonight), but we finally got the strategy right and managed to take him down with great efforts. Another win for Fabulae Marrii!
060220: Vision of Vox down! We were planning to farm Lockjaw for some nice items, but heard that Vision of Vox was up and went for her instead. We had never done her before, and expected some wipes. Our expectations seemed right. We wiped three times, not because of Vox herself, but of the very strong add waves she sent several times during the fight. (We'll conveniently omit two other wipes caused by two of our guild members trying to solo her.) After we had found a good strategy, basically a mix of teamwork, putting less DPS on Vox herself and putting more DPS on the adds coming in, we finally managed to take her down, get some nice loot and make guild level 31! What a night.
060206: Time to farm some eyes! Godking awaits us - many are bouncing, eagerly awaiting the prismatic 2.0. So we head to the Silent City, farming some eyes... We returned with a dead Laith the Ravager, one Uzu Eye, and some very nice loot. Contributed by Halbarad.
060131: Fabulae Marrii rides again! Back to the lofty heights of the Court of Al'Afaz where our brave Raiders stomped over The Keeper of City Keys, The Prismatic Captain, Brius Lakado and Wolan Lakado. On the way we also met the great gardener. The loot was so impressive, the troops will be back in time! Contributed by Halbarad and Plomien.
060124: Keeper of the City Keys down ! Okay, we have to admit, this one was tough. He must have taken us down at least five or six times. However, once we got the strategy right, put the healers where they belonged and didn't press any wrong buttons, he was a breeze (though the fight was still long). It's great to see ourselves working our way up steadily to bigger and tougher mobs. The loot is getting better every day, and hopefully our whole guild will be up in shiny Fabled armour soon.
060120: Guild Level 30! We were close already yesterday night, when several new members asked for assistance to finish their heritage quests, but Paulette, Peanutbtr, Ithile and especially Icehole took things a bit further and played until 7 AM in the morning (well, European time that is) to give the guild that last little needed push to level 30! Here you can see Ithile showing off his new Spirit Steed, which this level gives access to. Level 40, here we come!
060115: Rahotep, Broog, Meathooks, Rognog and Drayek down! Tonight, we formed an impromptu 2 group raid to kill Rahotep and help Namian (and others) advance "An Ancient Desert Power". We got help from Naldiane, and took down Rahotep and his legions. But now that we had a raid force, we decided to kill some more mobs, and expanded to being a group x3 raid, getting some help from none-guildees Nlan and Moondust. We ended up killing the following: Broog the Banished, Meathooks, Rognog the Angler and King Drayek. The King Drayek raid had a very special premiere: Jana was MA and tanked all the adds the King spawns. Contributed by Namian .
060112: Lockjaw and Rahotep down! Lockjaw, our little pet croc, was still beating the living daylights of us a few weeks ago, but this time we had the upper hand. We split in 3 groups, took down the Shairs to open the gate to his cave and tickled him with our swords. Lockjaw humbly thanked us and lied down. We also had a small bonus raid tonight, one we had already done many times before, but which was never documented. So here you go: some nice screenies of Rahotep and his armies of mummies biting the desert dust.
060110: Vaz'Gok the Cursed goes down! That was fun. We were doing a regular backflagging raid in Cazic Thule, when it came to our attention that Vaz'Gok the Cursed, a contested mob, was up in Feerott. First it looked like we were so going to whipe, but our brilliant revive and run back strategy saved the day. In the end Vaz'Gok went down without causing too many problems, and we even got a few fabled items (that hardly anyone bid on, unfortunately).
051222: Darathar bites the dust! What a great way to end 2005. Just before X-mas, we took off for the newbie island to rid the lands for once and for all from Darathar, the evil dragon that had stolen Nagafen's egg to hatch a prismatic dragon that would endanger all in Norrath. Admittedly, a bit to our amazement, we took him down at the very first try, though the fight was quite tough and in the end only 25% of our raid force was still up. But we did it and it's the result that counts! Thank you members, for sticking with us, and I hope that in 2006, you will once again honour us with your presence, so that we can live through many more great adventures! Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year, and may 2006 bring you what you are seeking!
051219: Vanudozalon the Elusive, Trenda'loz the Caller and Niscanith down! Tonight our mind was set on getting the 3 rings kept by Darathar's generals. We set off for Firemyst Gully to meet up with Vanudozalon the Elusive. We thought we were drunk, but we actually saw 3 Vanudolazons at the same time. When the always drunk Greldar confirmed he saw 6 of them, we knew our eyes were not deceiving us. We picked a random sample and took her down after two tries. Thanks to the same Greldar, who defended us at all costs against the terrible monsters in Fallen Gate (he really is our hero), we were able to make our way through much hardship of grey terror and took down Trenda'loz the Caller. Last but not least, we departed to our third destination in Cazic Thule. Alas, Niscanith never knew what hit her (we think it was a stray bottle of wine from Grel).
051212: New Wyrmsteel weapons made at forges in Solusek's Eye! Tonight we took off to the depths of Solusek's Eye, to have some of our best crafters forge us a multitude of Wyrmsteel weapons, which should give us a strong advantage against Darathar. While Mira and Oldface were having fun with the fire, we protected them against all the mobs that spawned in the vicinity. At level 50, this event would have been a challenge, but tonight we were happily chopping away while eating chips, drinking cola and exchanging jokes. A relaxed but fun event!
051207: Lady Vox resurrected, King Zalak version 2 down and our first encounter with Lord Darathar! Tonight was an eventful night. After many people in our guild had worked frantically to gather all shards to learn the language of Lord Nagafen in Solusek's Eye, we realized his wish to resurrect his late and beloved partner, Lady Vox. However, the shards we used to revive her were not powerful enough to sustain her life. We then killed King Drayek (a stronger version) to obtain Nagafen's and Vox' egg, which he had stolen, were it not that the Sage of Ages turned against us and transformed into Lord Darathar! He took off with our egg... and our revenge will be sweet!

051128: King Zalak down! Venus, vidus, vicus. This guy (Zalak version 3.0) must have been the toughest mob we have faced until now. We tried, and tried, and tried... and failed, and failed, and failed. He wiped us once, he wiped us twice, he wiped us thrice... it took us weeks to get where we are. But the fourth time we got our strategy right and defeated him - with great ease actually. This mob completely boils down to strategy, and we found it. The loot was terrible, but after the many lessons he had taught us, Zalak became more a symbol to us than anything else. Darathar, here we come! Oh, and as promised... a special mention of Xrawk, our sturdy gnome, who can handle any mob with his bare fists!

051122: Ar'ticae the Frost Maiden and Dythra the Gloombringer down! Today was a great day. We collected two more shards that are needed to revive Vox, the big nasty dragon, for our long-term quest leading us to Darathar. After clearing some adds in Ar'ticae's Lair, we faced off with the drakota herself. Fortunately we were well prepared with cold resist potions, and this lady dragon didn't pose much of a threat to us. Since everything went so well, we immediately ventured for Trembling Lagoon to confront Dythra the Gloombringer. A few weeks ago she was still whiping us in a second, but today we returned the favour.

051107: Allidax the Ancient down! Allidax said funny things about Samantha's mum, so we decided to tickle him a bit with our swords and staffs. This guy is pretty strong, and the crocodile adds didn't make things easier. After two full whipes, we called for reinforcements (read: a laid-back exp group that was too lazy to come in the first place). We splitted up in two raid groups and one cheerleader group, and Allidax went down so fast that the cheerleaders couldn't even build a piramid. Ah well. We got an F, an A, a B, a U, an L, an A, an E..... Fabulae Marrii!!!

051025: The Magolemus down! According to Madix we already did this guy a few times, but this is the first time the kill was officially registered. We got a call for help to kill The Magolemus for a quest, and brave as we are, we immediately stormed Lavastorm to help our beloved friends. The fight was a piece of cake, but fun nonetheless!

051017: Broog the Banished down! Actually we already took him down about a week ago, but of course everybody in our guild forgot to make screenies and nobody believed us. Since the gnomes in our guild had new suicidal tendencies and could hardly wait to be sacrificed for another dark slaughter ritual (the ones our guild tends to like so much) we chose a few volunteers (including Cynnister, who looks human but is actually a gnome deep down in his heart), said our prayers, got whiped twice and then decided to call it quits. That is, after defeating Broog first, of course. Congratulations Fabulae Marrii with another fabulous achievement!

051016: The first guild carpets! Madix, Havak, Seltheid, Zeph and Bedarra finally beat Flying Carpet quest nr. 4! It was a mean fight that rendered at least one member naked! Now we will whip Madix until he gets lvl 59 and Bedarra to lvl 55, so that we can do it again (and again, and again). Contributed by Bedarra

051004: Race to the guild house ! Today Namian and Ithile organized a great event to which all members could participate. All participants had to start a new character with level 2 and team up with 3 other guildies to form a team. The team that first obtained Qeynos Citizenship/arrived in the Guild House won. The winners were The Toon Tastics (Catkin, Havak, Jana and Yalom). Hurray! The night ended with all teams arriving in the Guild House, were a large dueling slaughter fest was organized, during which guildies could finally wreak havoc upon those higher levels that had always bothered them (and yes, it was fun to see our level 54 Madix walk around as a level 2 gnome)!

050901: Mjolni down! Last night Fabulae Marrii took on 4 epic monsters, and came out victorious in all 4 fights. Agelidaes, Rognog the Angler, King Drayek and for the first time in guild history Mjolni, Bringer of Storms. We're getting better at this every day. Contributed by Mira

050811: King Drayek down! Burning with a lust for revenge we once again visited King Drayek and the feared permafrost mines. After getting ganked as a guild the night before we had revised our strategy and brought a few extra members. The fight was on the edge and very exciting, but thanks to a skilled and disciplined raid-force we took him, his named friends and 5 waves of adds down! Victory party was held on the dethroned Kings erhm.. throne. Contributed by Bedarra and Mira

050811: Rognog the Angler down! We already took him down before, but due to our erm... incredible skill he died so fast that we couldn't even hit the Prt Scr button. So we decided to go back just to get these nice screenshots, and for the heck of it. We managed to get ourselves some great bracers, which went to Halbarad for the highest DKP bid ever made (more than 150 DKP). He'd better like them!

050630: Mangler, Overfiend and Agelidaes down! Tonight Samantha surprised us with one raid after the other. One guild group had run into Mangler in Rivervale. For some reason we thought this mob would generate SP, but unfortunately we were wrong. An interesting experience nonetheless. Since we were close anyway, we thought we'd whipe the Overfiend on the way back. Just when everybody was ready to start their normal groups again, Samantha bumped into Agelidaes in Nektulous Forest. We took the nasty little spider down for the second time. Greldar broke a new record: 13 deaths in one raid. He didn't look very happy.

050629: Vyr'Drais the Vicious down! Today we ventured into Maiden's Gulch to slay Vyr'drais the Vicious (level 50 Epic * 2). And we killed him, with ease. With him were a level 50^^ wyrm inquisitor and two level 50 wyrm guardians. Eleven members of FM have now opened up the quest "To Speak as a Dragon". Contributed by Mira

050620: 6 Shiny Brass Shields and Emperor Fyst bites the dust! Though we got the guild 16% experience tonight and took down all the orcs, Dogolkal, the Harrower of Zek and Emperor Fyst with ease, things didn't feel quite right tonight. The Deathfist Citadel was very bugged, 8 people went linkdead and about every door led to the middle of nowhere, greatly confusing our guild members. Two LD's were really badly timed: one guild member hailed an NPC he wasn't supposed to hail because he missed instructions during his LD, and another guild member who was mentoring went LD right in the middle of the ring event with Emperor Fyst, so that our lowest members didn't get the badly wanted quest update. Exp-wise the result was very good, but psychologically it just didn't feel that way. Let's hope the zone is less bugged next time, as we will revisit it again for those who missed their quest updates!

050616: Agelidaes down! Tonight Zeska, the poor fellow, bumped into this terrible level 40*3 mob in Nektulous Forest. Zeska was toast, but just before he died, he warned the guild that this Status Point mob was up. That's right, this is one of those mobs that generates huge SP for the guild. All online mobilized immediately and were lead to a victory by Samantha, after 2 failed attempts which amongst other things involved nude Yomarbalthasars, running Springwinds and dead Ligtorns. As said though, the third time we were victiorious, and rightfully rewarded by the game! Great work all!

050614: 5 Ghoulbanes! Tonight Anakye, Halbarad, Greldar, Ithile and Ligtorn killed Lord Everling and got the guild 5 brandnew Ghoulbanes. Laaalaalaa! Contributed by Springwind

050607:6 Serrated Bone Dirks! Tonight Oldface, Arisdirge, Anakye, Plomien, Greldar and Yomarbalthasar finished the Serrated Bone Dirk Heritage Quest in a few hours, bringing the guild level to about 26% towards level 23. Great work all!

050607:Guild level 22 and 5 Legendary Journeyman's boots! Tonight Anakye, Ligtorn, Plomien, Springwind, Greldar and Yomarbalthasar finished 3 runs in Zek, Enchanted Lands and the Feerott, dinging the guild to level 22 and obtaining 5 Legendary Journeyman's boots. Level 23, here we come!

050602:Alizasaur goes down! What a night! Tonight we assembled two groups and took them to the Trembled Lagoon, a raid zone in the Feerott. After having slayed countless groups of lizards, lizards and even a few nameds like Soonogs remains (all group^2/3 epic) we went off to the island, where a friendly summoner made the waters of the lagoon swell and rise and summoned us this nice little pet, who unfortunately was no match for our guild. Fabulae Marrii versus Alizasaur 1-0! Great going guys!

050531:Descendant of the Torig goes down! Today we assembled three groups to take on Descendant of the Torig, a groupx4 mob in Cauldron Cove (Nektulous Forest), which is needed for the Ghoulbane Heritage quest. Thanks to some great mentoring wizardry of our Raid Council, we were able to tackle the mobs in such a way that (almost) everybody got quest credit for it. Before taking on the Descendant himself, we faced many other enemies, like these eyes and Bumwuk the Oppressor. The final fight went smoothly and we spent our time afterwards making group pictures like these.

050527: Fabulae Marrii finishes GM quest and obtains 6 mythical items! On a routine hunt in the Feerott, Mira, Plomien, Springwind, Havak, Ainlor and Yomarbalthasar met a strange visitor: a role-playing NPC, which clearly was a GM. We hailed him and he gave us a quest. Our guild had to gather a pie, a leather chest garment, teak, diamondine and insect parts, which the Froglok would use to rejoin with his wife, who was still stuck in Cazic Thule. Thanks to the speedy assistance of our courier Anakye, we were able to finish this quest within the allocated timeframe. Later Bedarra logged on and was able to solo a slightly easier version of the quest. The rewards we got were 6 Froglok Meditation Pools with MYTHICAL status, 3 of which have already been put in our Guild House to cheapen the rent a bit. This was a great night, but then again... well, read what the GM himself said about us.

050523: 5 Flowing Black Silk Sashes! Five new Flowing Black Silk Sashes for the guild when Samantham, Havak, Yalom, Bedarra and Mira completed the Teachings of Yoru heritage in a record-breaking 2h 50 minutes. The group was off to a slow start as none of the spirit-spawning NPCs were up, but after one hour of camping they quickly spawned one after the other. The fights where quite difficult but we won in the end.

050517: 5 Guises of the Deceiver! After having endured great hardship for several weeks in the dungeons of Nektropos Castle, Greldar, Bedarra, Ligtorn, Springwind and Yomarbalthasar finally managed to get all the rare spawns needed for the Guise of the Deceiver. Well done all!

050511: 2 Manastones! Mira and Yomarbalthasar finally killed Varsoon and are now the proud owners of a nice twinkling Manastone. With thanks to Anakye for the necessary backup!

050506: 2 Polished Granite Tomahawks! Springwind and Ainlor finished the "Axe from the Past" heritage quest resulting in the treasured Polished Granite Thomahawk. Contributed by Ainlor.

050506: Guild level 20 and 6 Guises of the Deceiver! Havak, Jana, Yalom, Anakye, Ainlor and Mira completed A Missing Mask, resulting in the Guise of the Deceiver and dinging the guild to level 20! On the way, Havak and Ainlor also completed Restoring Ghoulbane. Contributed by Mira.

050505: Grimfeather down! We saw him, we met and we took him down! Fabulae Marrii got its revenge on good ol' Grimfeather (Lvl 37*2) who killed quite a few unwary travellers in the past. After a very chaotic start, we learned the big bird is completely resistant to slash, but we finally got aggro under control and wore him down with seven peeps. Great job! Contributed by Halbarad.

050505: 3 More Manastones! Plomien, Anakye and Greldar got themselves a nice flashy Manastone tonight. It was quite hard to obtain the Glimmering Teeth, but lucky Plomien managed to harvest 3 in a row. Once we had made the Shroud of Mana, killing Varsoon was a breeze.

050504: 3 Manastones! We managed to do the whole Manastone quest within two hours thanks to exceptionally good preparation. We all had Stiletto's Orders and Glimmering Teeth prepared and Samantha had already made some etched hide plates to hand out. The group members were Samantha, Ligtorn, Springwind and Ainlor. Springwind joined the group on very short notice, so she did not have time to grab a Glimmering Tooth. Therefore, she left the group after we killed Weavemaster Esh'Rax. Contributed by Ainlor.

050404: 4 Heritages finished! Plomien, Anakye and Yomarbalthasar got themselves 3 Bags of Sewn Evil Eye within 2 hours! We also picked up a Polished Granite Tomahawk on the way for Anakye. Special thanks go to Mira, for helping us and tanking for our group without getting anything back for it, and to Jana, who was willing to temporarily mentor Plomien so that we could both take on the Bag of Sewn Evil Eye end mob and enable Anakye to actually receive quest credit for it.

050427: 5 Polished Granite Tomahawks! After having had some fun in Thundering Steppes harvesting rare granite resources, Mira, Charemy, Plomien, Bedarra and Yomarbalthasar arrived at the last step of the PGT Heritage Quest. We killed Octagorgon and got ourselves 5 new shiny tomahawks. Well done all!

050425: Windstalker Rumbler down! It took quite a bit of puzzling to mentor our lower levels in such a way that this mob would green out to us, but after a few tries we managed. The preparation was exquisite and as a result, our raid force cut through this mob like a knife through butter. The loot was disappointing though.

050424: 5 Bags of Sewn Evil Eye! Mira, Yalom, Bedarra, Greldar and Ithile finished Foomby's Stolen Goods on Sunday. We didn't have to do much camping and everything went smooth. Contributed by Mira.

050421: Descendant of Torig down! Even lacking a Priest couldn't stop us! Eight brave adventurers entered Cauldron Hollow and when they left 30 minutes later, the Descendant of Torig and the foul Ghosts haunting the old Grove were no more. Unfortunately the foul beasts conned grey except one, so loot was a bit low, but we were still able to get the quest update for several Ghoulbane heritages. Grats all and well done! Contributed by Halbarad.

050418: 5 Shiny Brass Halberds and guild level 18! Mira, Springwind, Greldar, Anakye and Ligtorn finished the Dragoon K'Naae of the Thexians heritage quest yesterday, resulting in the Shiny Brass Halberd and dinging the guild to level 18. Contributed by Mira.

050415: Emperor Fyst down! What a mad orc slaying night! But wave after wave didn't hinder us to work our way down to the Arena in Deathfist Citadel and finally face the Master of Zek: Emperor Fyst. He went down like every other orc that stood in our way this night! On the way we rescued a few Greenhoods, slayed a lot of Deathfist's Nobility and enjoyed a great designed zone. Big thanks to Seltheid who guided the raid very well through the stairs, elevators and towers. Contributed by Bedarra.

050415: 3 Glowing Black Stones! Tonight was our lucky night. Plomien, Anakye, Greldar, Mira, Ligtorn and Yomar managed to spawn and kill the Tome of Death, the Tome of Life, the Weavemaster, Varsoon the Undying and Scholar Al'Quylar! This way Anakye, Greldar and Yomar were able to finish the last part of the Glowing Black Stone Heritage Quest in just a few hours!

050414: 3 Heritages finished and guild level 17! Samantha lead us on a quest for the Serrated Bone Dirk Heritage Quest. After a lot of running around, including a visit to West Freeport which was nice, we spent time in Rivervale and Enchanted Lands to flush out the assasin. The last fight was hard and would not have been possible without the help of Halbarad and Havak! The results? Samantha, Bedarra, Jana and Mira finished SBD and got us a guild ding to level 17! Contributed by Bedarra.

050414: 4 Heritages finished! Today we organized a spontaneous short raid, during which we took down Octagorgon and Captain Ulsissaris. This way we advanced three heritage quests: Havak's Polished Granite Tomahawk (PGT), Seltheid's Manastone (MS) and PGT, and last but not least Yomar's MS.

050405: Our first try at Cragshell! Despite the small turn-up tonight (something to do with a soccer match?) we gave Cragshell (level 39, group x 2) in the Enchanted Lands our first try. He's a tough crab: loads of hit points, many resists and huge blows eventually resulted in our four healers not being able to keep Samantha, our main tank, alive. Once Samantha went down, all others followed like domino stones. Despite this, we learned a lot, amongst other things that catching a crab can have two meanings.

050323: Thundering Steppes and Nektulous Forest runs beaten! Tonight we worked on The Journey is Half the Fun Heritage Quest, which requires you to run marathons in several different zones within set time frames. Eleven guild members finished the marathons in both Thundering Steppes and Nektulous Forest (the latter involving a few suicide jumps at The Ascent by Yomar who finished last, as usual) and got themselves a nice intermediary ring item. Here you see the view from the bridge in Nektulous Forest, where we gathered for the second marathon. We'll continue this quest in the future by finishing the marathons in the Enchanted Lands, Zek and Feerott!

050318: Lord Everling down! Today we went into Nektropos Castle to work on the next step of our Hadden's Earring heritage quest. On our way we met many interesting creatures, like Billy, the sisters and our good old Archfiend Izzoroth, who seemed to have a bit of a temper. We cleared the Juggernaught protecting his room and then took on Lord Everling himself, who stood no chance. Nice loot! Since things were going prosperously, we headed to Ruins of Varsoon later, took down the needed spawn, took down another spawn in Thundering Steppes and voila... another heritage finished and ding guild level 14. Well done all!

050307: Ghoulbane quest, take 1! It's been quiet on the news front lately, but under the surface, many things are going on. After several guild members had made the necessary preparations for the Ghoulbane heritage quest, we headed to the Crypt of Betrayal to spawn the Specter of Ire and teach him a lesson. After about a 30 minute wait, we managed to kill him. After that we went to the Ruins of Varsoon to spawn another monster, but unfortunately it was on strike today. We expect to finish this heritage for quite some members soon, and hopefully it will gain the guild a few levels.

050210: Reconnaissance mission in Bloodskull Valley! Today we went for a reconnaissance mission in Bloodskull Valley. We brought a few big tanks with us to grey out the zone and determine a strategy. This zone is tough. Very tough. Even with some high 30's we could hardly keep up with the enormous number of ^^^ mobs that were sent in. When one group went down the situation was looking even more grim. Thanks to a splendid idea from Greldar we managed to get the group up again and slowly regain terrain. After 2,5 hours of constant fighting without any break, we were up to speed again, so that we could kill the supply runners that kept sending new reinforcements. To be continued!

050207: Access to Enchanted Lands! Tough to swallow, but unfortunately we failed another boat ride. We tried to get ourselves access to the Enchanted Lands, but once again it went wrong at the very last encounter on the boat. Killing the easy mobs needed to trigger the first few parts of the quest was no problem, and we even managed to take down Draylix, a demon in Nektulous Forest who had disguised himself as a fisherman. However, Lord Zaavan on the final boat ride was a little tough to manage.

Update: We took down Lord Zaavan and got access to the Enchanted Lands 3 tries later.

050203: Access to Zek! Yesterday, we did the toughest raid ever - the passage quest to Zek. Slightly complicating factors though were the invincible Yalom, who found new friends in the Crypt of Betrayal, Yomar, the wizard who thought he could fly but forgot the one and only rock in the waterfall of Blackburrow, Havak, who found a collectible in the Ruins of Varsoon, sleep, link deaths, crashes, group whipeouts, more whipeouts and last but not least, time. Yup, I think yesterday evening had a pretty high whoops factor. However, after much persevering and slaying random spawns of Orc Marauders everywhere, we managed to get on the ship that would bring us to Zek. Unfortunately, the last encounter on that ship was very red to us... and we didn't live to tell the tale, though we were close. Very close. To be continued!

Update: We got access to Zek 5 days later.

050202: Access to Bloodskull Valley! Tonight Madix organized his very first raid for the guild. Despite several server outages, we did manage to finish tonight's quest for most of our members: getting access to Bloodskull Valley! We found a soldier in Commonlands who asked us to retrieve the password for said zone by slaying 4 Orc Commanders roaming around in the Commonlands. Though all of the Commanders were grayed out to us already, the fact that they were immune for melee damage did make our fighters suffer a bit. Nonetheless, most of us got access to a new and exciting zone! More to follow...

050126: A new guild house! Tonight we had a fun event consisting of two parts: a Scavenger Hunt in Antonica and the Inauguration of our new Guild House, located in the prestigious Lion's Mane Inn in South Qeynos. At the Scavenger Hunt, Samantha gave us a list of ten random items which could all be found in Antonica. The team that found all ten items first would win. The Highly Controversial Baboon Officers and Obese Big Sissy-twiddlers (H.C.B.O.O.B.S.) won the first prize (3 gold) for being the first to find all items - the Wild Wikings of the Wilderness won the prize for the most original team name (1 gold). After that, we inaugurated our Guild House (now including two rooms) with a furniture contest - those who brought the most original furniture would win 1 gold. The prize was won by Anakye for his very prestigious globe. The guild house was kindly donated to the guild by Hvutt, who left us for far more important business in real life (he is becoming a father). Each time we enter our house, we will remember him and commemorate his great deeds. Farewell Hvutt! May life smile upon you!
050121: Octagorgon and Captain Ulsissaris down! We have been busy tonight. After finally clearing the Avatars of Jealousy guild raid from our Quest Journal (which had been grayed out already), we went to the Cove of Decay in Thundering Steppes to meet some of our friends: Octagorgon and his more than 50 adds (for Madix' heritage quest) and Captain Ulssissaris (for the manastone quest). The latter was a very tough fight (the toughest until now) which lasted about 10 minutes, but in the end we managed to bring him down. According to our parser he had more than 87.000 hit points. The loot was slightly disappointing, but the adrenaline kick this fight gave us was more than worth it! Way to go, Fabulae Marrii!
050112: Access to Nektropos Castle! Today we got ourselves access to Nektropos Castle, a dark castle hidden somewhere deep in Nektulous Forest. After an interesting sightseeing tour that brought us to several bridges (oh, so many bridges, how do you keep them apart!), waterfalls and trees that hurt, we finally managed to trigger the quest, kill the bad guys, learn the local lingo, read the wards and open the door. Meanwhile, we succeeded in killing the skellies patrolling the forest and obtain ourselves some nice loot.
041219: Galintari the Apocryphal down! Galintari the Apocryphal, the end boss of Firemyst Gully, went down! We cleared the graves, we killed the Brutes, we destroyed the sigils and we fought the hardest mob of all: sleep! Finally, around 3 AM, we were able to take Galintari himself down. He dropped some nice Apothic Leggings (which went to Plomien) and after we had headed back to the village, all of us received a great orange weapon plus two bubbles of experience. Well done, Fabulae Marrii!
041128: Guild meeting! First official guild meeting. All of us gathered in Yomarbalthasar's apartment (for lack of a better guild house) to discuss the goals of the guild this year and the role of the several councils. This was especially necessary because many new members had been invited in our guild. All seem to fit in very well and many people asked good and valid questions. Thanks for listening to our boring speeches!
041125: Holly Windstalker down! Click here for a bigger picture. Our very first training raid, which was a big succes. After we had taken Holly down, we assembled separate groups and dinged the guild to level 5 in one night! Congratulations all, well done!
041118: Guild Level 2! We took this great guild picture after organizing two writ nights for the guild, that finally dinged us to level 2. We're getting the hang of this and expect to be able to ding the guild to level 5 soon!
041111: Guild Establishment! The guild has been established in EverQuest 2, making our removal from Dark Age of Camelot official! Ferri, Halbarad, Hvutt, Kihad, Samantha and Yomarbalthasar saved up enough money to officially register the guild at the Guild Fowler in Qeynos Harbour. Rock on guild!
041028: Combat in Firemyst Gully (DVD Quality MPG, 38 MB, zipped) - Downloadable on special request.
Our very first adventure in the beta of EverQuest 2. You will need this MPEG 2 codec to be able to play the file in Windows Media Player/DivX.
